According to a Conway Police Department incident report, police responded to a possible burglary in progress at a residence in the area. The report states a woman thought someone was trying to enter her bedroom, so she shot her .22 caliber rifle at her bedroom door. Police found a bullet lodged in the bathroom wall directly across from the bedroom door.The report states there were no signs of forced entry, and all doors and windows were locked.The woman unlocked the front door in order to let police inside, according to the report. An officer noted he talked to the woman about firearm safety and the proper circumstances in which one can be used.
