Chancellor Dan Rahn has told staff that he’s hired Bill Bowes, a Connecticut college CFO, to be the UAMS CFO.

David Wilcox has been serving on an interim basis since Melony Goodhand left for another job in Tennessee.

Rahn said Wilcox, rather than retiring as originally planned, will stay on at UAMS for an “extended period” (see jump for full Rahn note.) You may remember that Goodhand was paid $312,000 for a year of “availability” to UAMS after leaving for a job in Tennessee.
