KUAR, the public radio station at UALR, is making midday program changes July 1 because of the end of Talk of the Nation June 27.

Primarily, it will add The Takeaway, a one-hour news show at noon, and Here and Now will expand from one to two hours and air from 1-3 p.m. This is Monday-Thursday. On Friday, Talk of the National Science Friday will continue in its 1-3 p.m. slot.
