Ecowatch reports that environmental protesters locked themselves to equipment at a pump station that is part of the Keystone XL pipeline in Oklahoma to force a halt in construction. The protesters unlocked themselves after one of them was reportedly injured by a volunteer firefighter, who was apparently using a “jaws of life” tool to remove the protesters.
