Channel 4 reports that City Manager Bruce Moore has demanded security measures at the Forest Place apartments on North University after at least the eighth fire at the big complext in recent months. Residents are uneasy, to put it mildy, in addition to the repeated inconveniences and property losses.
Little Rock City Manager Bruce Moore is ordering video security systems, sprinklers, and fire alarms at the Forest Place Apartment complex.
He’s also requiring owners put in a card system that tenants have to use to access the buildings.
The owners of the complex have offered a $35,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of someone responsible.
