State Rep. Nate Steel of Nashville announced as a Democratic candidate for attorney general this morning on the lawn of the courthouse in his hometown. He’ll be in Little Rock later today. So far, no other Democrat has firmly indicated a candidacy. Two Republicans, David Sterling and Leslie Rutledge, are in.
UPDATE: Zac White of Heber Springs, who’d indicated some interest in a Democratic candidacy, says he endorses Steel.
