Both the Wall Street Journal editorial page and now the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have urged teabagging House Republicans to give up on the notion of shutting down government rather than allowing the law of the land — the Affordable Care Act — to take effect.

In two words, a Senate punk of the Arkansas Republican Party demonstrated the party’s sneering contempt for the Democratic process, the welfare of Arkansas people and anything associated with President Obama.

To explain: @burgwinkle is spokesman for the Arkansas Democratic Party. He posed the question about Republican Rep. Tom Cotton of the Club for Growth. Who writes the ARSenateGOP account? I don’t know. I do know it suddenly has gone inactive. Too snotty even for Republicans? Hard to imagine such a thing. Earlier in the day, all kinds of Republicans were lauding @arsenategop.
