We’ve got a busy schedule coming up. Starting on Saturday with…

*The Arkansas Times Festival of Ideas: We’ve got a strong lineup of big thinkers scheduled to speak at four downtown venues this Saturday. It’s all free. They’ll be talking about their ideas to make the state a better place. Through art, music, crime, education, technology, entrepreneurship, immigration and more. Check out the schedule here and reserve your seat.

We’ll go from 5:30 p.m. until about 7:30. There’ll be complementary apps and happy hour drink prices. If you’re not a subscriber, feel free to come by and tell us why we’re not worth $9.99 a month.

*The Arkansas Times Blues Bus: As usual, we’re taking buses to the Saturday portion of the King Biscuit Blues Festival. It’s on Oct. 12. This year the headliner is Gregg Allman. Tickets are $99. Order them by calling 375-2985.

It’s scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1 at the Argenta Farmers Market Grounds. We’ve got 50 breweries participating this year, 60 percent more than last year. More info and tickets here.
