Call out the Republican congressional shock troops. Another worthy citizen has been denied admission to a national park attraction closed because of the GOP budget hijacking. This one even was arrested for being unwilling to take a locked fence as an answer.

Channel 4 reports that a 29-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after scaling a 10-foot fence around the observation tower at Hot Springs National Park. She triggered an  alarm and officers who found her hiding in a stairwell arrested her for trespassing. She said she was traveling cross-country. When she saw the site was closed, she tied up her dog and scaled the fence. Why? Story doesn’t say. Because it was there?
