Big excitement here at Arkansas Times HQ this afternoon. Moments ago, a Central Arkansas Transit bus collided with a River Rail trolley. You’ll really notice the damage to the bus in a picture on the jump.

Asked who hit who, the bus driver said it was “kind of a combination.” The bus apparently hit the rear of the trolley as it turned from Markham onto the Main Street Bridge. The bus driver said the rear of the trolley juts out into the Markham/Scott intersection as it makes a right turn and he must’ve gotten too close.
