Benton police are looking for a man who  went into the Walmart store there just after 5 a.m. this morning, brandished a pickaxe and then smashed jewelry cases before making off with an unspecified amount of loot.

According to KLRT, workers  in the store said the man, who was wearing a blue and black plaid jacket, khaki pants, a ski mask and gloves, told them he would shoot them if they tried to stop him, but never displayed a gun. He fled the scene in a truck with toolboxes on the back and amber lights on top of the cab, leaving the pickaxe behind.
