The New York Times reports on legislative action in the year since the gun slaughter in Newton, Ct.

Of 109 new state gun laws, 39 tighten regulation and 70 loosen regulation.

Arkansas has: 1) made concealed carry permits secret; 2) by some nutters’ interpretation totally removed restriction on carrying of a weapon; 3) allowed guns in churches; 4) allowed guns at private church schools; 5) opened the door to guns on college campuses by vote of trustees;

Bullet Bob Ballinger has, so far, failed in his effort to pass a state nullification statute, the Orval E. Faubus Memorial Gun Act. But more legislative sessions await.
