It is, by my synchronicity with the great sideral movements by which time is generally accorded, now acceptable to acknowledge the advent of Christmas.

Charles Brown, sending salutations to friends and relations, is in my iPod rotation, along with the Salvation Army band and Swiss “blasmusik,” particularly Handel’s “Tochter Zion.” The prodigal son and and daughter arrive tomorrow and I’ve started cooking (screwed up my rolls, sorry to say). The temperature is suitably cool.
