It’s a slow day here in Little Rock, but the police beat never stops. Reports this morning:

* HOMICIDE ARREST:  Police say Kaylon Robinson was charged Thursday with capital murder in the shooting death Monday of Verico Ingram, who was found shot multiple times in a car at 15th and Abigail. Police were seeking two young men a suspects. Robinson turned himself in Tuesday.

* DWI ARREST: Police charged Phillip Troppoli, 23, of Roland, with DWI, refusal to take a breath test and careless driving after a series of events that culminated with his 2007 Mercedes running into the Statehouse Convention Center about 2:15 a.m. this morning. Witnesses said Troppoli struck a car parked outside Club Level in the 300 block of Main Street before heading north erratically on Main and eventually hitting the south wall of the convention center. The driver of the car fled, but was found inside the Marriott Hotel and later identified as Troppoli. He wasn’t seriously hurt. Damage to the building was estimated at $15,000.
