Channel 4 has the details
on two Saline County who turned themselves in to authorities on charges related to a mixed-breed  dog’s  fatal  attack  Nov. 21  of a 75-year-old Hot Springs Village woman.

Brande Coy, 50, was charged with manslaughter, unlawful dog attack and harboring a vicious dog. Her daughter Emily, 25, was charged with harboring a vicious dog.

According to an affidavit in the case, a dog from the same litter of bull mastiff/pit bull mixes killed a 5-year-old Jessieville boy in June.  The women also reportedly told investigators they were aware of other bites by the dog.
