The expectation of coming ice prompted closure of all school districts in Pulasi County today.

Little Rock city offices are closed and the “essential personnel only” directive has been issued for state employees in the metro area, so news today is going to be sparse. (I guess that means nobody will be around to open the check from Mark Darr that surely is in the mail by now to repay state taxpayers for money he spent improperly on personal expenses.)

Should I get off my hill while the getting is good? Or not? I opt for not.

What will happen now in a nice-becalmed city?

Democrat Mike Ross has scheduled his first major policy announcement in Little Rock at 10:30 this morning. The gubernatorial candidate is widely expected to talk taxes.  That information should be available before long regardless of weather.

UPDATE: The weather has prompted Ross to push the talk back to 2 p.m.

The forecast below we don’t need.
