A topper for the shadowy outfit pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into TV ads touting opponent David Sterling’s advocacy of a kill-the-witness (stand your ground) law? A distinction without a difference.

Time to promise to push for a resumption of the death penalty and to promise to personally push the plunger on the syringe, flip the switch on Ol’ Sparky, drop the cyanide cannister, drop the trap door on the gallows, fire the live bullet or unleash the guillotine the first time there’s an opportunity.

Democrat Nate Steel sounds better all the time.
