My apologies for not cross-posting Will Stephenson’s Rock Candy report  at midday yesterday on the move of Market Street Cinema to the vacant theater space in the Riverdale shopping center. Will also had an update there on the Riverfest/CeeLo Green fee dispute.

Survival of Matt Smith’s Market Street art house has defied all probability and enriched the city’s cultural offerings for years. But I confess, the screens, sound, projection and iffy climate control most often encouraged me to wait for Netflix release of many of the offerings. New projection and sound is promised in Riverdale, along with a setting already superior as far as screens and seating are concerned. Plus, it’s handier.
