Jobs and Opportunity, a group affiliated with the Democratic Governors Association, is providing friendly fire for Mike Ross in his gubernatorial race against Republican Asa Hutchinson. The new ad, featuring a McGehee teacher, references a 14-year-old Hutchinson vote to cut federal education spending, including Pell Grants for college students; his work as a Washington lobbyist, and the years he spent as a registered voter in Virginia while working as a lobbyist.

Effective? I don’t know. You tell me. I don’t think much of Asa’s Nancy Pelosi ads either, but they apparently think they’re productive.
