Sorry. My home phone and WiFi stopped working yesterday morning and the robots of AT&T tell me I may get service back Wednesday. That leaves me with iPhone for impossibly cumbersome blogging. So I will be on hiatus until I get downtown.

One piece of disclosure:  The lawsuit challenging the fracker tax break is another case supported by the nonprofit public interest group, the Arkansas Public Law Center, on whose board I sit. It is about legislative disregard for the rules of procedure for the fiscal session — passing a tax break that didn’t get the required rules suspension for consideration in a fiscal session. Gov. Mike Beebe vetoed the bill, but the Republican majority demonstrated its usual respect for law and precedent by overriding the veto.
