* TELL THE TRUTH RUTH: Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg gave candid interviews this week and verged on making some news, while insisting she’s still fit to serve on the court. Amen to that and to her comment that Sandra Day O’Connor regretted her retirement (as the rest of us do). Among highlights in this interview:

* The Hobby Lobby case that allows employers to deprive workers of contraceptive coverage would have been decided differently by a court with nine women.

* The Supreme Court won’t dodge a decision on same-sex marriage the next time it gets a case on it. It won’t delay, as an earlier Supreme Court did in waiting until 1967 to strike down laws that prevent interracial marriage. She said she expects a decision by 2016, perhaps a year earlier.
