The man convicted said he tipped Rogers about a coming FBI raid at his home. Rogers’ attorney says he was helping the feds and the convict was trying to ensnare Rogers in his problems.
* CITY BOARD CANDIDATES: Two more candidates filed today for Little Rock City Board seats — Herbert Broadway for Ward 1, a seat currently held by Erma Hendrix, who has not yet filed, and Geoffrey Yamauchi for Ward 3, a seat currently held by Stacy Hurst, who is not seeking re-election so that she may run as a Republican for state House. Former state Rep. Kathy Webb has also filed for the Ward 3 seat.
