Gruesome news from Arkansas State University via Fox 16:

A freshman sorority member attending a rush party cookout Tuesday night at Kappa Alpha fraternity had the shaft of a broken golf club impaled in her neck in a freak accident. The club broke when a frat member was swinging it like a baseball bat at a tossed football. The shaft flew after the club struck the ball and plunged into the neck of Natalie Jo Eaton, 18, of Harrisburg. She was seriously injured and taken to a Memphis hospital after initial treatment in Jonesboro.
