Arkansas Democrats are rallying today and news reports say they are sounding working-class themes that have sustained the party for years — a decent minimum wage and expanded health coverage, embodied by the 2013 adoption of a private option version of the Medicaid expansion provided by the Affordable Care Act.

If you like the 200,000 people who now have health insurance thanks to the private option. And if you like the news that both Medicaid and the subsidized instance provided by the the health marketplaces are NOT driving up health care costs, then you can thank OBAMACARE!

And remember, if you don’t want to increase the minimum wage and if you want to repeal the law that provided all this expanded health coverage, well then you’ll want to vote for Asa Hutchinson and Tom Cotton. Neither has expressed support for either proposition. They don’t much like food stamps, more pre-K education, contraceptive coverage for women, equality for sexual minorities or environmental regulation either.
