The Arkansas Democratic Party announced this morning that former President Bill Clinton will take some time off from grandparenting to headline rallies and campaign for Arkansas Democrats in Conway, Jonesboro, Fayetteville and Rogers on October 6 and 7. Clinton will speak at University of Central Arkansas, Arkansas State University, the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers. The events are free and open to the public but tickets are required (see details below).

Can the Big Dog still move the needle in Arkansas? Hard to say, but he can certainly draw a crowd.

President Clinton to Campaign for Arkansas Victory 2014
President Clinton will headline rallies in Conway, Jonesboro, Fayetteville and Rogers

Little Rock – President Bill Clinton will headline rallies and campaign for Arkansas Victory 2014 in Conway, Jonesboro, Fayetteville and Rogers on October 6th and 7th. President Clinton will speak at the University of Central Arkansas, Arkansas State University, the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers to rally students, local communities and lay out the clear case for why there is so much at stake for Arkansans in November’s election. Governor Mike Beebe will also be on hand at the Arkansas State University event.

Arkansas Victory 2014 is the largest grassroots campaign in Arkansas history. Thousands of Arkansans from across the state are going door-to-door, making phone calls and talking with their neighbors about the clear choice this November. Arkansas Victory 2014 has already registered thousands of voters, knocked on thousands of doors and made thousands of phone calls. These grassroots efforts will continue through Election Day.

“There is no one better than Bill Clinton at making the case to Arkansans about what’s at stake for the middle class in this election,” said Democratic Party of Arkansas Chair Vincent Insalaco. “President Clinton has always been able to connect with Arkansans on a personal level and that connection makes him the best person to lay out why Arkansans need to get involved and not let out-of-state billionaires buy this election.”

Tickets will be required to attend the events. All events are free and open to the public. All events will have designated ticket pick up locations. Shuttles will be available to the event from off-site parking locations.
