Little Rock police report about 6:30 today a fatal shooting in the 100 block of South Rice Street. No details yet.

Around 4:20 AM officers responded to the 100 block of Rice St to a shooting just occurred call. After talking to a witness it was determined that 2 black male suspects entered the residence and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.

While fleeing a suspect fired at least one shot that struck the victim. The victim died as a result of the gunshot.

The name is being withheld pending notification of family.

CORRECTION: The police now say both suspects are WHITE MALES. It’s the city’s 36th homicide of the year.
