KARK’s Austin Kellerman has the early word on new NBC/Marist polling in the races in Arkansas for U.S. Senate and governor. It suggests tightening in both races, but continued small leads for Republican Senate candidate Tom Cotton over Democratic Sen. Mark Pryor and Republican gubernatorial candidate Asa Hutchinson over Democrat Mike Ross.

Tweets Kellerman:

Cotton 45
Pryor 43

Cotton was up by 5 in September

Hutchinson 47
Ross 44

Hutchinson was up by 9 in September.

He dug out this demographic:

New #ARSen poll from @NBCNews: Pryor enjoys double-digit lead among women (49/38) but Cotton ahead among men (51/36)

Marist’s website is here, but nothing is up yet.

Here’s the NBC link.

Please note CORRECTION FROM MY ORIGINAL POST. The governor’s race is 47-44, not 47-43, a gap also within the margin of error of 3.9 percent.

Also: More numbers here from a New York Times sampling that relies on continuing sample of a panel of respondents. Slightly wider edge for Cotton.
