I doubted the broad margin reported by the Arkansas Poll of the University of Arkansas in races for U.S. Senate and governor, if not the consensus that Rep. Tom Cotton and Asa Hutchinson were likely to win. I was wrong.
With results nearing completion, Cotton holds a 56-40 lead over Mark Pryor in the Senate Race, for a 16—point margin, and Hutchinson held a 55-41 lead, or 14 points, over Mike Ross in the race for governor.
The Arkansas Poll had Cotton up 13 points, 49-36, among very likely voters and had Hutchinson up 11 points, 50-39, among very likely voters.
Janine Parry, director of the poll, can look back proudly on her work.
