The sad saga of champion boxer Jermain Taylor continued through the night as he prepared to appear before a judge today on a bond revocation hearing for the first of two cases of assault pending against him (amid a string of other incidents.)

Yesterday evening, Taylor appeared in a Facebook video — posed in a bathtub. He apologized for an incident Monday in which he reportedly threatened a family and fired gunshots after a five-year-old dropped one of his championship belts. That video was eventually taken down. With good reason. According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, it included a complaint about a lack of candy for children at the Martin Luther King Day parade and also a reference to “that boy” messing with him.

Overnight, Taylor was back on video, this time in bed with a girlfriend he said he planned to marry. He said he was ready to go before the judge and, likely, jail.
