A new study by USA Today
shows that Arkansas spent $615,252 on football recruiting in 2012-13, fifth in the 13-team SEC, with Auburn and Tennessee topping the list at $1.38 million and $1.29 million, respectively.

Arkansas’ expenses increased by 5.2 percent from 2009 to 2013, a growth rate less than any other school except a 1 percent increase at Tennessee and an 11 percent drop at Georgia. Nine schools spent less per win during that period than Arkansas.
