Only the House is in session today and likely not for long after an 8:30 a.m. start.

The agenda includes, on the withdrawal calendar, Rep. Justin Harris’ bill to restrict drone photography over private property. I don’t know at this point if he has a substitute planned. The idea faces heavy opposition.

A measure of the work today — which will produce a per diem payment for House and Senate alike even though the Senate isn’t in session and many went home Thursday — is that there are no free lobbyist meals or cocktail parties on the list of “scheduled activities” — the loophole by which the legislature has run roughshod over Amendment 94’s ban on lobbyist feeding of legislators.
