Apple CEO Tim Cook came out against House Bill 1228 today on Twitter, calling on Gov. Hutchinson to veto the bill if it reaches his desk. Hutchinson has already said he’ll sign it into law.

In other news: Hope you weren’t planning on having a 21st Century economy any time soon, Arkansas, because if HB1228 passes, tweets by the CEO of Apple tend to carry a considerable amount of weight.

Oh well. At least there won’t be any hypothetical bakers forced to bake hypothetical gay wedding cakes that compromise their hypothetical Christian beliefs. Maybe we can have a cake-based economy, or build steam engines or something.
