Little Rock filmmakers Brent and Craig Renaud have won a Peabody Award for “Last Chance High,” their eight-part series for Vice News online. The series follows students and teachers in Chicago’s Montefiore Academy, a therapeutic school in the Chicago Public School system for students with severe emotional disorders.

The Peabody Awards began as the “Pulitzer Prize for radio” and gradually expanded to other electronic media. Other 2015 winners include the podcast “Serial,” “The Americans” TV show and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”
