Details are emerging about a fatal police shooting of a criminal suspect in Cabot last night. KTHV has this report.

The dead man was a parolee, taken into custody for drug possession, by Community Correction officers who’d been looking for another parolee. He was handcuffed and placed in a police car. Shortly after, officers say, shots came from inside the car and they returned fire, killing Jonathan Macintosh, 35. A spokesman said shots were fired from the car by a “compact” handgun.
