* IDENTITY THEFT: The U.S. attorney’s office announced a guilty plea today by Mesha White, 34, on a charge of aggravated identity theft. White, who’d been a medical assistant at a dermatology clinic, was indicted in April 2014 for using patient information from medical files of 13 patients to open fraudulent credit accounts at online retailers. She’d ship goods to a vacant apartment where she once lived and then pick up the boxes, according to the account in a news release. Under a plea agreement, White must serve a two-year sentence, have three years of supervised release and make restitution.
