All United Airlines flights, including those to and from Little Rock, are currently grounded because of a computer problem.

UPDATE: Later in the morning, the problem was reported corrected and flights resumed, but often with delays from scheduled times.

BUT…….Later in the day technical problems beset the New York Stock Exchange and the Wall Street Journal.

United Airlines’ computer system, which provides passenger ticketing, was down for about an hour and a half this morning at Clinton National Airport. United resumed operations in Little Rock at approximately 8:30, and was able to quickly accommodate passengers awaiting scheduled flights. Given that the first push of flights for the day from our airport had already occurred when the outage happened, there was very little impact to passengers here. The airline has been extremely focused on handling any schedule adjustments to address connections at other airports.
