Lockheed Martin promises a livestream broadcast of its launch of the USS Little Rock, a freedom class combat ship designed to operate in inland and coastal waters, at 10 a.m. Saturday.

This is the place to go for the livestreaming. The ship is to be launched on in the Menominee River at Marinette Marine in Wisconsin.

Here’s some history on the last USS Little Rock. It was commissioned in 1945 as a light cruiser and retired in 1950. In 1960, it was converted to a missile cruiser.
