Entergy announced this morning it had completed the leveling of the retired Ritchie Power Plant near Helena with a controlled explosion.

Today’s implosion demolished a boiler and a 450-foot emissions stack. Entergy is clearing the site.

Today’s work followed a similar explosion in an earlier phase last October.
