Monday morning (01/11) at approximately 5:00 am a Little Rock Police pursuit concluded in Cammack Village.

Monday morning Jacksonville Police were transporting a female prisoner, when the officer came upon a suicidal “jumper” on the I-30 bridge. The officer got out to try to help this subject , the prisoner was able to jump into the driver’s seat of the police cruiser and drive away,

Shortly afterwards Little Rock police located the suspect vehicle and brief pursuit occurred. Officers were able to take the suspect back into custody, without incident at the intersection of Greenwood and Audubon.

Cammack Village is the quiet, autonomous residential community surrounded by Northwest Little Rock.

KTVH reported that the woman driving the cruiser was Alyssa Brooke Harrison, 25, of Sherwood. She was arrested after being stopped driving a Dodge Avenger with expired tags and gave the officer a false identification. Charges of theft, criminal mischief, fleeing, reckless driving, probation revocation and escape were added.
