Neurosurgeon Ben Carson, skilled with a scalpel but unable to cut it with Republican voters, has apparently dropped out of the race to win his party’s presidential nomination, saying, “I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results,” NPR reports.
Carson, who did not do better than 11 percent in any of yesterday’s primaries, did not explicitly say he was dropping out, but said he would not debate on Thursday.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich did not win any of the primaries, either, but predicted today he would win all of Ohio’s delegates when that state votes in its winner-take-all primary March 15.
That would be 99 delegates. Then what?
