Former U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge, challenging incumbent Sen. John Boozman, tonight proposed five televised debates and five town hall forums around the state. Frank Gilbert, the Libertarian Party nominee, was also invited.

In a press release, Eldridge said:

I congratulate Senator Boozman on securing his party’s nomination for the U.S. Senate, and I look forward to an honest, respectful campaign focused on the issues,” said Eldridge. “Voters deserve to know where we stand on the issues, and so I call on Senator Boozman and Frank Gilbert to join me in participating in five televised debates and five town hall forums across the state. Arkansans deserve to have their voices heard and their questions answered. …. This is a critical election with too much at stake not to give voters honest debate and clear answers.

There is zero chance that Boozman will accept the challenge. He’ll probably do the one AETN debate and that’s it. If that.
