Arkansas Travelers, the voluntary group of Clinton campaigners, are making stops in Missouri today to encourage votes for Hillary Clinton in Tuesday’s primary.
She needs the help.
New numbers from Public Policy Polling show her trailing Bernie Sanders in Missouri 47-46, thanks to his broad support among self-identified independents and Republicans who plan to vote in the Democratic primary.
The races are tight in two other Midwestern states. PPP has Clinton up 46-41 in Ohio and 48-45 in Illinois. But she had a 20-point edge in Michigan polling before losing that state. PPP says Clinton has big margins in polling in Florida and North Carolina.
