The North Little Rock School District proudly sends word that junior Mitchell Harvey scored a perfect 36 on the March ACT college entrance test. Arkansas generally has a few perfect scores and I’d be happy to hear aboutand mention others, but it’s particularly cheery news on a dreary day. (We had some perfect ACT scores in candidates for this year’s Arkansas Times Academic All-Star Team, which will appear in our April 28 issue.)
Mitchell hopes to major in chemical engineering and attend Cal Tech, MIT or Georgia Tech. He reportedly enjoys AP calculus and engineering and is an International Baccalaureate candidate.
