WKRG-TV in Mobile reports that Asa Hutchinson III, the governor’s son, was arrested for drug possession over the weekend at the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores.

The report said Hutchinson was in possession of two capsules of “molly” and four capsules of ecstasy. He was released on a $5,000 bond. The younger Hutchinson is a lawyer.

The governor’s office hasn’t responded to a request for comment. But KATV reported this comment from the governor:

Well, those are the days that it’s tough to be a parent and it’s tough to be a son. And I think every parent and every son would identify and understand that problem. And my son’s an adult and he will have to address this just like he has had to address other things in the past.
