Marci Manley of KARK reports that Circuit Judge John Langston has granted a motion to delay the trial of Judge Wade Naramore on a misdemeanor negligent homicide charge in the hot car death of his 18-month-old son Thomas last July.
The trial had been set for June 14-17. The prosecution asked for a delay, in part to prepare for a defense expert witness on “forgotten child” cases. No new date has been set.

The judge said the delay was merited by the length of time the trial is expected to take, not “prosecution issues,” according to Manley’s Tweets from the court.
The defense said it was prepared to go to trial and argued against a delay.
