The Little Rock Planning Commission in early May turned down a request from Jimmy John’s, the fast food chain, to convert a branch bank at 4520 W. Markham to a drive-through restaurant.

The Little Rock City Board agenda for this week indicates the chain has asked for hearing before the board on an appeal of that decision June 21.

The building, which has been a OneBanc branch, is adjacent to a Slim Chicken’s outlet on the east. One office and residences line the block to the west.
