Let’s make this an open line to add to what I posted earlier.
Weather couldn’t be much better for outdoor activities. I just drove through War Memorial Park after a gym visit. I”ve never seen so many people on the picnic grounds.
The new Riverfest wraps up with a discounted admission. No word yet on attendance, but this release came out this morning:
Riverfest, Arkansas’ largest festival, is selling passes for admission today for $40, discounted from the regular $50 price.
“We knew some of our faithful fans were waiting to see what the weather was going to do this weekend, and we’re thrilled that the rain bypassed our festival,” says DeAnna Korte, Riverfest executive director. “Today is absolutely beautiful, and we are happy to offer this discount for Sunday Fun Day at Riverfest.”
Festival hours today are 1-11 p.m., and featured musical entertainment includes Cole Swindell, Goo Goo Dolls, Kelsea Ballerini, Juicy J, Barrett Baber and X Ambassadors. The First Security fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.
