* DOUBLE SLAYING SUSPECT KILLED BY POLICE: Andre Johnson, 40, suspected of killing his mother and another person in Horatio Saturday, was shot to death by police in Oklahoma after a car chase.

* CHILD KILLED BY TRACTOR: Steve Neighbors, 53, of Mountain Pine was charged with felony manslaughter after the death of a four-year-old boy, the Garland County sheriff’s office said. The child had been riding on a tractor with Neighbors while he was mowing. The tractor hit a hole. The impact threw the child off the tractor and he was run over.

* FATAL HIT-AND-RUN: A two-year-old being pulled in a wagon by his mother was killed early Sunday when hit by a pickup on Highway 190 south of Benton. The pickup didn’t stop.
