As reported here earlier, former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will be joined in Little Rock Thursday afternoon by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair for the invitation-only graduation of the second class of 61 Presidential Leadership Scholars, a program of four presidential libraries.
A conversation by the former leaders will also include three members of the Little Rock Nine. Almost 60 years after the school crisis, race relations remain at the forefront of the American discussion. Former Labor Secretary Alexis Herman also will participate.
Information about the scholars program is available at this website. Tomorrow’s program, though not open to the public, may be streamed there.
The first graduation was in Dallas.
