Alice Stewart, the former Little Rock TV reporter who went on to a career as spokesperson
for a string of Republican politicians, announced on Twitter yesterday that she’d taken a job as a political commentator for CNN.
This year, Stewart moved from a position on Mike Huckabee’s failed presidential campaign to a position with Sen. Ted Cruz’s failed campaign. In 2012, she worked for a couple of other Republican presidential contenders who fell by the wayside, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum. In years past, her duties have included staff jobs with then-Gov. Mike Huckabee and with Republican Secretary of State Mark Martin.
She’s appeared as a Republican-side analyst for CNN a number of times.
